This discussion paper, released by the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) sets out how the Taskforce continues to consider how to integrate societal dimensions of nature-related issues into its framework. It includes:
• An overview of societal dimensions of nature-related risk and opportunity management and disclosure identified by the Taskforce as relevant to the design and development of the TNFD framework (Section 2);
• An update on how societal dimensions are integrated into v0.3 of the beta framework (Section 3);
• An update on the next steps of the Taskforce, and key questions the TNFD would welcome further feedback on (Section 4); and
• A summary of feedback received by the Taskforce on societal dimensions since the v0.1 release of the beta framework (Annex). Version 0.3 of the TNFD beta framework can be viewed in full on the TNFD online platform
